A new school year brings fresh opportunities and exciting changes to Tabgha Education Centre (TEC). This year, TEC proudly introduces the House System, a dynamic reward structure that encourages teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition among students, teachers, and staff.
Dividing the House: Beast League & Gemstone League
The House System at TEC is structured into two leagues:
Beast League: Designed for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students, this league fosters camaraderie, collaboration, and motivation at an early stage.
Gemstone League: Encompassing Grade 6 to Grade 12 students, this league promotes responsibility, leadership, and perseverance as students advance through their academic journey.
Each student, teacher, and staff member is assigned to a house, where they contribute to their house’s success through academic achievements, good behavior, sportsmanship, and active participation in school events. The system instills a sense of belonging and shared responsibility, reinforcing the school's core values.
More Than Just a Reward System
The House System is more than just a tool for distributing rewards—it is a culture builder. By working together, students and educators forge meaningful connections, strengthening TEC’s learning environment. This initiative motivates students not only to strive for personal growth but also to support their peers, creating an atmosphere of mutual encouragement.
Teachers and staff are also active participants in the House System. They can earn individual points while also contributing to their house’s overall performance. This shared experience bridges the gap between educators and students, fostering mentorship and deeper engagement in school life.
Creating History, Raising the Trophy
Throughout the year, houses will compete in academic challenges, sporting events, and community activities, all contributing points to their house’s total. Every effort, big or small, is a step toward making history together. At the end of the academic year, the house with the highest points will be crowned champion, celebrating teamwork, perseverance, and collective success.
This initiative aligns with TEC’s mission of holistic education, nurturing students not just in academics but in character and leadership. It empowers students to take ownership of their growth while strengthening bonds across different age groups and teaching staff.
As TEC embarks on this new journey, the House System will serve as a powerful reminder that success is a shared victory. Together, we compete, we grow, and we celebrate—as one united community.
Let the journey begin! Which house will raise the trophy this year? Stay engaged, stay inspired, and let’s create history together!
Let the force be with you!
